This week almost all the stocks values fell at a total loss of $3,778.50. Hopefully by next week, these losses will turn into soaring profits!

This week, instead of making any additional changes in which stocks I own, I want to go over the different terms and functions in this paper trader.

Lets first look at this bar in the middle of our screen.

On the very left are the different stocks that I own as well as the number of shares. Pretty simple.

The numbers directly to the right of the gray ones, represent the price of one share as of right now. The numbers to the right of the prices indicates how much the money is up or down since the pevious close. In the case of Costco, each share is down $19.90 dollars. Lastly, the percents are how much up or down in percent each stock is compared to the pervious close.

Moving on to the right side of the bar:

P/L Open $: Profit or loss since the position was opened. (I lost $1,119 in NVIDIA)

Net Liq: Current value of my shares of a stock.

Trade Price: The price at which each position was purchased.

BP Effect: Buying power effect, indicating how much buying power is used by the position.

Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega: Are all used to measure different types of risk in an options pricing.

Next Week I plan to make some more changes in my portfolio. I have orientation in my new school tommorow since I transferred and I had my SAT last Saturday. It was pretty rough so hopefully I can do better next time.
