Here’s what I learned about a stock exchange on investopedia!

A stock exchange is a market where buyers can connect with stock sellers. Someone called a broker follows financial regulations and deals with exchanges between companies that trade. A stock exchange is also where financial instruments like equities and bonds are made. Exchanges are a source of liquidity in the market where transactions can occur without delays.

For Example, the New York Stock Exchange!

  • The largest equities exchange in the world.

  • One of the world’s leading auction markets, which means specialists are actually present on trading floors

Other than stock exchanges, my AP Comp Sci A class that I'm taking online is difficult without an in person teacher so I am struggling a little bit. Next blog I want to talk about investments strategies like reading the stock market and knowing the background of companies you invest in.
